Sorry for your loss, I can imagine how this would impact the way you look at yourself and the world around you. I also fully understand your dissatisfaction with yourself, having been there myself before and in some respects still being there myself. But don't be too hard on yourself for it - things go the way they go, and sometimes the mind needs something else than you'd like it to need. It'll pass.
